Since 2023, the IBExU UK Ltd. has been an approved body in accordance with Statutory Instrument 2016 No. 1107 as amended and is therefore authorized to carry out corresponding conformity assessment procedures. In addition the certification center is accredited by the National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom (UKAS).
The service areas of IBExU UK Ltd. are the certification of products, components and systems intended for use in and in conjunction with potentially explosive atmospheres in the scope of Statutory Instrument 2016 No. 1107 as amended, intended for the GB market (England, Wales, Scotland) and the deposition of documentation in accordance with Statutory Instrument 2016 No. 1107 as amended.
